Nominate your hero! 10-Jun-2011 After some amazing wonderful support from the community, Airlie Day Spa and Mackay Day Spa both want to say 'Thank you' and give back!
Owner Julie Menner said “We are going to spoil one local heroes (from each region) every two months with a one hour Massage, Mini Mani, Spa Pedicure, Cut, Colour, Blowdry and finish with a light Make-up application valued at over $350” She urges the community to “Nominate your local hero today!”
Although only having launched the completion this week on Facebook, they have had some amazing nominations for our real local heroes.
“The rules are simple,” Julie said “one of the winners must come from the Whitsunday region and the second from the Mackay Region;. Think of people who help you in everyday life including Nurses, Teachers, Emergency services personnel, Charity Workers & Coaches etc.”
